Venture AOT Combat: Blades and Titan Approaches

Use movement to create a blade strike at the weak point, then keep a route out of the Titan’s reach. Choose the general kill sequence for an encounter, the blade page for action setup, or a touch and controller guide for the way you aim. A slash that misses and an input that never activates have separate troubleshooting checks.

Make the angle serve the strike

A combat pass needs more than speed toward the Titan. Ready the blades, choose a side or rear approach, and keep the weak point reachable as the target moves. The demonstrated leg-to-nape sequence helps explain a controllable first engagement, but a leg-disabled Titan can still grab near its arm. Leave a poor angle instead of treating the setup as immunity. Touch players need room for camera aim and attack timing; controller players need a readable stick-controlled approach. The blade reference keeps those movement decisions separate from the draw and strike actions. When the strike appears but no useful cut follows, investigate position and supply before deciding the input failed.
